Fated Emergence is a performance of six short stories filled with grief, humor, and magic for all souls who have ever lost their way back home, following Evie, a troubled artist trying to make sense of the present while dreaming of their future.
Written and performed by KD. Queer and Haitian, KD stands in the lineage of Haitian oral storytelling; their work is rooted in defiance, crafted in mischief, and guided by the belief that a good story carries all the ingredients we need to change and build the world around us.
