About this Event
DEI Virtual Meetup: Setting Intentions and Goals

Setting intentions and creating an action plan are important ingredients when it comes to implementing diversity, equity, and inclusion (‘DEI’) related goals within the workplace. This is how we set the stage for achievable quick wins and longer-term goals as part of our larger strategic plans. It also creates an opportunity for us to think of ways we can hold ourselves accountable and measure progress while working toward sustainable milestones.

Whether you’ve started having these discussions already or you’re deep in your DEI work, we invite you to join us for our first virtual meetup of the year! We’ll have an opportunity to discuss:

What DEI work means to us in our current climate on a personal and professional level
Current action items in place for the next year
Ways companies plan on holding themselves accountable
Tips on how to support employees when doing DEI work
Speakers:

Caroline J. Mailloux, Senior Program Manager at Bain & Company

Tarikh Campbell, Diversity & Inclusion Business Program Manager, Microsoft

Moderator:

Fatima Dainkeh, Learning and Development Manager, She+ Geeks Out
