The “Now Festival” 2016 | Nov. 2-8
Come on out to co-create the best possible version of the Panhandle community for one extraordinary week during the NOW Fall Festival taking over the neighborhoods around San Francisco’s iconic Panhandle (plus a few all over the city).
Experience some of their events featuring music, games, discussions, and more. Most of the events are free, however some events ask for donations or have a low cover.
Step into the life of a spy for one afternoon. As the newly appointed directors of the Terrorist Control Unit, you (and your team) will have to look for clues and information to stop an imminent terrorist plot in San Francisco.
Can you be the first to solve clues, break codes, find dead-drops, handle and interrogate assets, and find and diffuse the terrorist weapon before the time is up?
Things you need to know:
- Registration starts at 1pm at the McKinley Statue between Oak and Fell Streets near Baker St.
- At exactly 1:15pm, teams will be allowed to open their dossiers and start solving clues.
- Players can come with a team already organized or can join a group at the event. Teams can be anywhere between 2 and 8 people. All teammates must stay together during the entire event.
- Teams may use any form of transportation, so long as all team members are together.
- Teams should have at least one fully charged smart phone with a QR scanner. Also bring some extra paper, a pencil and your running shoes.
