Event Details

The Stevan Pasero Quintet mixes Brazilian, Spanish, and American music along with bossa nova, rhumba, flamenco, classical, and jazz styles. Live concert is in Wisley Court at 6:00pm.

Also hands on art making and free lecture in Koret Auditorium. This week: “Picasso: deconstructed and reconstructed.” We will use portrait or still life images as inspiration cut them apart and reconstruct in the Cubist or impressionistic style of Picasso.

About Friday Nights at the De Young
Friday Nights at the de Young offers a variety of free interdisciplinary arts programs, including live music, poetry, films, dance, art activities and lectures in the public spaces of the museum.

Please note that admission to the museum’s galleries is not free on Friday nights, but instead all of the events listed above take place in the museum’s “free zone” right by the entrance and are free and open the public and do not require tickets.
