Come rally with us for VOTING RIGHTS every Friday!
With voter suppression bills sweeping the states and the drawing of rigged district maps happening right now, our democracy is almost at the breaking point. things are dire, but there is HOPE: the Freedom to Vote Act. This bill is in the Senate – it will outlaw voter suppression and gerrymandering, and will help protect election results. This bill MUST pass ASAP – but it’s being slow-walked in the Senate because of Republicans who hate democracy and because of Democrats who are not acting with enough urgency. Every Friday we rally at 5:00 in front of Senator Feinstein’s office and we will be there UNTIL THE FREEDOM TO VOTE ACT PASSES! (And we often go to dinner afterward!)
