In celebration of Jazz Appreciation Month, the Filipino American Jazz Celebration event will feature live music performed by acclaimed jazz artists from the Bay Area.

The event will also feature a brief presentation on how the earliest forms of jazz made their way to the Philippines and how the music impacted the relationship between African Americans and Filipino Americans in the San Francisco Bay Area.
