Return of the Cypher (ROTC) is free live Hip-Hop show every Sunday at the Boom Boom Room that features an ever-changing lineup of artists and improvised sessions (know as “cyphers”) where beatboxers, emcees, and musicians collaborate in a spontaneous combustion of soulful skill.

On July 2, 2017 ROTC welcomes Large Professor to Return of the Cypher. The legend credited with mentoring Nas, producing “Illmatic”, and working with generations of artists ranging from Kool G Rap and Big Daddy Kane to Common and Busta Rhymes.. is spinning a one hour set at R.O.T.C.

And it’s FREE as usual Opening performances by Unlearn the World, XienHow, and 2nd Floor Samurais.
