Submitted by the Event Organizer
Unfortunately, we are planning to cancel this Sunday’s (Dec 6th) due to the rise in COVID cases and out of concern for the health and safety of our community.
Join us for a socially distanced shopping marketplace featuring Black-owned small businesses in San Francisco’s historic Fillmore District
Every first & third Sunday of the month
Fillmore’s Black-owned small businesses are struggling due to COVID-19’s ever-changing restrictions. Many of these community businesses do not have brick-and-mortar locations and instead rely on outdoor/indoor events to sell their goods. These vendors need a safe place to sell their goods and merchandise in order to protect their livelihoods.
The Fillmore Marketplace was created by the Fillmore & Japantown for Justice Coalition to support these integral small businesses. We are working with these local vendors to develop a safe and weekly marketplace for the community to support the Fillmore’s heart and soul.
This event follows the SF recommendations for COVID-19 safety and strictly enforces all participants to wear masks at all time, maintain a 6 foot social distance and follow safe hand hygiene practices.
