Liberated Lens Film Collective is hosting a screening of “Struggles In Steel”, a film that documents the shameful history of discrimination against Black workers and one heroic campaign where they won equality on the job.

Come early for a free dinner and stay for a discussion with panelists:

  • Alan Dones – CEO of Strategic Urban Development Alliance (SUDA) and former electrician union member of IBEW
  • Adrionna Fike – worker-owner of Mandela Grocery and board member of Network of Bay Area Worker Cooperatives Network (NoBAWC)
  • Cloudell Douglas, Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, Northern California Chapter
