Event Details

African Americans were a part of the burgeoning Silicon Valley tech industry from its earliest beginnings. Learn about their contributions in this screening of the documentary film, A Place at the Table, by digital storyteller Kathy Cotton. A filmmaker with 20-years of experience working as a camera operator and video editor, Cotton interviewed African Americans who flourished in the industry and increased the profitability of many companies with their innovative ideas and inventions. Cotton will be on hand to discuss the film after the screening.
