The evening will begin at 6pm at the African American Arts & Cultural Center with wine and hors d’oeuvres, and will be followed by a screening of “God Grew Tired of Us,” the winner of the 2006 Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize: Documentary and Audience Award, which chronicles John’s five year, thousand mile journey as a Lost Boy.
