Event Details

Firehouse Arts Center Free Summer First Fridays | Pleasanton

On the first Fridays of June, July, and August in 2013, Pleasanton’s Firehouse Arts Center will be open to the public, offering a variety of free events and activities in the Firehouse Theater, Harrington Gallery, classrooms and lobby.

The center is an architecturally unique complex that combines the historically preserved original Firehouse Station #1 with integrated new construction.

There is an Open Mic at 5:15 pm, with signups starting at 4:30 pm. It is anchored by a different guest closing act each month.

The two-story high Grand Atrium Lobby will host demonstrations by fiber and mixed media artist Denise Oyama Miller.

Children visiting on First Fridays will have the opportunity to create their own art work in a studio project session.

Closing musical act is TBA.
