First Friday Concert Series | Oakland

Every First Friday after Art Murmur in Oakland, The Uptown holds a free concert featuring local musicians and beyond covering indie rock, electronica, hip hop and everything in between.

There is no cover, doors open at 6 pm and the show starts at 9 pm.

The Uptown Nightclub is closed as of November 6, 2014.

  Founded in October 2010 in San Francisco, Future Twin was brought together by the all-girl moped gang, the Lockits. They became fast friends and were soon waxing synth songs, huffing gasoline and making shred tents late into the evening.
