The Crucible’s Cathedral Gallery is pleased to present Flamboastin’ Bay Area Youth Flaunting Their Sculptural Explorations.  Local youth ages 8-17 are represented in this novel show of art created this summer, much in classes ordinarily not available to this age group.  The media include metal, glass, clay, wood and recycled materials  crafted with techniques that include welding, oxy-acetylene cutting, glass fusing, glass flame working, wood turning, and more.

Youngsters have the opportunity to experience professional exhibition of their creative explorations in a downtown Oakland gallery.  Opening night is a reception for the young artists to interact with other talented individuals of their peer and view their work.

  • First Friday Art Walk  (September 3rd and October 1st) 6-9pm
  • Show dates August 19th – October 1st
