Fleet Week 2010: Blue Angels Practice Runs | SF

Fleet Week comes to San Francisco for 2010 with the opening day of “Circle and Arrival” maneuvers by the Blue Angels flight squad on Thursday October 7th from 1pm to 5pm. Don’t expect to see any fancy tricks today, but you can see them flying low buzzing the city sizing it up for their big weekend shows.

Anywhere in North Beach, Financial District (on a roof), Fisherman’s Wharf or the Marina should give you a good view. The basic rule is if you hear a loud noise, look up!

Thursday, 7 October:

– 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Air Show flying will begin with the United States Navy Blue Angels conducting their “Circle & Arrival” manoeuvres
– 4 p.m – 6 p.m PIER 39 Entrance Plaza Stage Navy Band The Destroyer
