Celebrate Star Wars Day with a sunset picnic and an unforgettable night time kite flying experience!
As part of our SF Discover Parks series, join us for a kite flying event at the Marina Green Park with Internationally acclaimed Kite Man of Martinez, Tony Jetland! The event will continue past sunset so he can showcase a collection of famous large-scale custom LED illuminated kites!
This event is 100% FREE. We will provide light snacks and non-alcoholic drinks, including hot cocoa and marshmallows for roasting to make S’mores! Each attendee will get a free pride kite to try flying and take home.
What to bring: Warm clothes, something to sit on (blanket or chair), any additional snacks or beverages of your choice.
Connect, learn, relax, fly kites, re-discover the beautiful Marina Green park at sunset, meet up with old friends and make new ones! MAY THE 4TH BE WITH YOU!
