2019 Diwali “Festival of Lights” & Indian Food Festival | Newark

In keeping with annual tradition, Federation of Indo-Americans (FIA), Festival of Globe (FOG), and Fremont Hindu Temple are celebrating FOG Diwali and Fireworks – Festival of Lights this year on a grand scale.

Saturday, October 19, 2019 | 11 am to 9 pm
Newpark Mall (Parking Lot), 2086 Newpark Mall, Newark
Tickets: $5 online

2019 Schedule: (Tentative)

• All Day – kids’ rides, shopping,  food stalls and food festival.
• 10:30 am – 11 – Ram Lila
• 11 noon – 5:00 pm – Dance competitions
• 5:00 -5:30 Lakshmi Poojan and Jhankian
• 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm – Shilpi Paul Rocking Singing Performance begins
• 6:30 pm – 7:00 pm – Lamp lighting and Dignitaries greetings
• 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Shilipi Paul Rocking Singing Performance continues

Will there be fireworks? Unfortunately there will be no fireworks for 2019 as was previously listed.
