Learn how acorns are still one of the most efficient and sustainable food sources available to the modern forager.
Kevin “FeralKevin” Feinstein and Kim Curiel, two certified forage nuts (pun intended) will demonstrate leaching acorns in various ways, identify acorns that are best for eating, and present information about the oak trees on which they grow.
Acorns are a nutrient- & calorie-rich wild food that are also delicious if properly prepared. Acorn treats will also be available!
