France-based Dreampop Band “Hibou” at Rickshaw Stop (SF)

France-based dreampop band Hibou takes over Rickshaw Stop for a night of ethereal indie rock. Joined by Bay Area locals Still Ruins and Lovers Peak! This concert is in support of Hibou’s new record, It Seems To Me, out 8/8 on Cali-based Spirit Goth Records.

Hibou is the solo project of songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist Peter Michel. Based in the south of France, Michel builds a dreamscape of sounds driven by sparkling guitar hooks and new wave inspired rhythms. Meticulously assembled with potent lyrics, crooning melodies, and propulsive drums, Hibou crafts an entrancingly nostalgic sound that continues to blossom upon every listen.
