J.R.R. Tolkien Sing-a-Long, Dragons & Free Hot Dogs | Inner Richmond

The hot dog vendor/art space hybrid Frankenart Mart will be celebrating their 6th anniversary on April 1, 2012 with free hot dogs, of course, and a Tolkien sing-along by Aragorn.

Yes, you read that right. Aragorn, son of Aerosmith  (Ben Davila and Elysha Rom-Povolo) will be hosting a Tolkien Sing-a-Long at 3:30pm. 

But before all that, the Hobbit Hole will be giving out free beef and veggie dogs (until they run out), the root beer will be flowing, and the breadcave will be stocked. Plus there’s rumors of a “Dragon vs. Hot Dog Battle” at some point during the day.

We had originally listed incorrect hours 3-9pm. Frankenart Mart will be open on April 1, 2012 from 1-6pm. Our apologies for the confusion!

A Teeny Tiny Participatory Art Space:
Please note that Frankenart Mart is a very small space that runs primarily on love, so visitors should be prepared to be patient, to be respectful of the space and its contents, and to participate generously.

So if you’re coming to just watch and each free hot dogs, this might not be the place for you… but if you’re ready to lend a creative helping hand, then you’re invited to come celebrate with the Mart and the Hobbitses.
