Event Details

Gail Archer, an international concert organist, recording artist, choral conductor and lecturer, will perform the works of Franz Liszt (1811-1886).

Ms. Archer is college organist at Vassar College, and director of the music program at Barnard College, Columbia University, where she conducts the Barnard-Columbia Chorus. She serves as director of the artist and young organ artist recitals at historic Central Synagogue, New York City.

The program is expected to include the following compositions:

  • Evocation a’ La Chapelle Sixtine
  • Ave Maris Stella
  • Einleitung zur Legende der heiligen Elisabeth
  • Fantasie und Fuge uber den Choral “Ad nos, ad salutarem undam”
