Free 3-Day “Ode to Joy” European Film Fest in Downtown SF (Nov 7-9)

The European Union Office in San Francisco is proud to launch “Ode to Joy” European CineFest — the first-ever European Film Festival in San Francisco, taking place November 7–9, 2025.

This exciting new initiative and three-day celebration will bring some of the best of European cinema to the Bay Area, showcasing films from Italy, Sweden, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, Ireland, Germany, and the Czech Republic. The festival highlights Europe’s rich cultural heritage, diversity, bold artistic voices, and the values that connect us across borders through a carefully curated selection of movies.

Organized by the EU Office in San Francisco in partnership with EU Consulates and European Cultural Institutes, screenings will take place at INNOVIT, Alliance Française, and the Delancey Street Screening Room, offering audiences a unique opportunity to explore Europe’s diverse cultures and perspectives on screen.
