San Francisco Chinatown: Leung’s White Crane Dragon and Lion Dance Association – 55th Anniversary Celebration
SAN FRANCISCO, CA. August 2nd, 2026
Leung’s White Crane, one of North America’s largest and oldest traditional martial arts schools, will be hosting a grand public celebration and ceremony in San Francisco Chinatown in honor of its 55th Anniversary.

Celebration performances include: rarely performed traditional Lion and Dragon Dance awakening ceremony, parade with dozens of Lions and Dragon and acrobatic high pole “jong” lion dance performance,
Performances will be by National Lion Dance Champions, Martial Arts Schools visiting from around the world will be participating in the festivities.
About Leung’s White Crane:
Founded in 1971, Leung’s White Crane is North America’s most acclaimed Martial Arts School, winning dozens of Lion and Dragon Dance Competitions. Reigning 7x USA National Champions, Leung’s White Crane is the only North American School to both win multiple Worldwide Competitions and have all female team champions. Ongoing for decades, Leung’s White Crane is the Grand Finale Performer for the San Francisco Chinese New Year Parade, the largest Chinese New Year Parade outside of Asia. Leung’s White Crane is a Community Based Tuition Free Organization.
