Free “Aurora Mandolin Orchestra” Holiday Show at SF’s Main Library (2025)

Listen to the Aurora Mandolin Orchestra as they return for another lively performance of European melodies, folk songs, popular “oldies”, contemporary pieces, and selections from musicals, movie soundtracks and opera. The orchestra members who come from all over the Bay Area, play plucked instruments (mandolin, mandola and mandocello), as well as guitar, string bass, accordion, flute and percussion. A presence in the Bay Area for almost 100 years, the Aurora Mandolin Orchestra has performed at Davies Symphony Hall and in many libraries, museums, cultural festivals, and senior living facilities.  Don’t miss this annual holiday favorite.
