Thanks to richmondsfblog.com for tipping us off to the Richmond District Police Station’s participation in tonight’s “National Night Out” celebration that’s meant to help foster partnerships between the police department and the community.

The station will host a free BBQ and provide special activities, including tours of the police station and hands-on time with an SFPD horse, motorcycle and fire engine. Also be on the lookout for a special children’s area with face painting, a bounce house and hula hooping at this hopping neighborhood police station block party.
