Music in the Park | Redwood City

Join for a Free music every Wednesday throughout the summer. With unique and varied musical performances — including Motown, Celtic, Zydeco, Rockabilly, Funk, Soul and much more— families and friends will enjoy the free outdoor concert series, in the relaxing setting of beautiful Stafford Park.

There is also a concession tent selling hamburgers, hot dogs, potato chips and drinks, graciously operated by the Optimist Club of Redwood City. All proceeds benefit the Save the Music program in Redwood City Schools.

Tortilla Soup was founded in 2003 and features former members of the legendary groups Tower of Power & Malo. With over 30 years of experience, Tortilla Soup derives their music style from influences like Latin, Cumbia, Salsa, Tex-Mex, R&B, Blues, to Funk and Soul. Lead by Robert Payne, Tortilla Soup strives to bring to their audiences “El Sabor de la Musica.” The band’s commitment shows a dedication that can best be understood by listening to their smooth, soulful, and danceable sounds.
