Spend a Sunday exploring the brain, sharing a meal and connecting with your neighbors at Brain Brew Community Day—a free, family-friendly event at Buchanan YMCA.
Join us on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for hands-on brain-themed activities, “Brain Olympics” games, local coffee sampling and lunch. Visit the memory wall, learn about brain health and enjoy time with family, friends and neighbors.
Organized by high school students Krishna Bhatt and Govind Krishnan, Brain Brew brings generations together to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Families, older adults, students and care partners are welcome.
Admission is free, and lunch is included. Donations are optional (through recommended, ~$25) and support the Alzheimer’s Association and Michael J. Fox Foundation.
