Google_Apps_1[1]Google Apps for Business I & II is a free hands-on lecture and lab course that introduces students to free web-based email, time management, web page creator, and file collaborative tools.

Learn to use Google’s core communication and publishing tools (email, calendar, docs, spreadsheets, presentations, drawings, forms, groups, and blogger) Google’s search, research and map tools (maps, places, transit, and gallery) and Google’s social networking, shopping, and marketing tools.

Students will strengthen and expand their ability to search for, edit, and share web-based information using Google’s vast suite of tools and services. This in an essential skill in today’s web-driven business and education environment.

WHEN: This free 45 hour class meets twice a week on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons for 18 weeks. Class meets from 1–3 pm.

HOW: Pre-register now so that you can be assured a seat. Go to Admissions on the first floor of the Downtown campus at 4th & Mission (one block south of Powell BART). If you are told that the class is full, come to the first class and the instructor will register you in class. Please bring your student ID number.
