Esta Noche has presented the Bay Area’s best progressive comedians free of charge in the heart of the Mission.
Now, new hosts are continuing the fun. Every Thursday, straight and gay comedians tell jokes on a stage that was built for drag queens.
- 1st Thursday of the month: Yuri Kagan and friends
- 2nd Thursday of the month: Emily Van Dyke and friends
- 3rd Thursday of the Month: “The Bitchslap” with hosts Eloisa Bravo and Kimberly Rose Wendt
- 4th Thursday of the month: Jessica Sele and friends
Esta Noche is a gay bar where everyone is welcome as long as they are 21 and over.
Marga Gomez (LOGO Network, SF Weekly Best Comedian 2012) ends her Comedy Bodega series by co-headlining with one of the most highly regarded comedians on the planet Scott Capurro (BBC, ALICE RADIO, SF Bay Guardian Best Comedian Award).
The free final show starts promply at 8 pm, and will be filmed for an upcoming documentary. Comedy Bodega with Marga Gomez will end after almost two years and 90 shows presenting the Bay Area’s best progressive comedians free of charge in the heart of the Mission.
But starting October 2013 new hosts will be continuing the fun at the new series “Esta Noche Comedy Thursday.”
