The Showdown is the fairest and unbiased comedy competition. Featuring the best talent in the Bay Area and beyond to bring you the funniest comics to do battle on the Showdown stage. No more “crowd applause” now we use all digital, by the numbers system. The winner not only takes the cash but they are also added to the Heavyweight Comedy Championship belt. All the winners from the previous Showdown’s will compete in the “Battle for the Belt” Championship happening this fall.
Past participants of this competition have gone on to work with some of the biggest names in entertainment, appeared on national T.V. and are well on their way to being the next weekend headliner. Come help create the next Showdown Champion, they might become your new favorite comic.
This show is hosted by comedian Terry Dorsey and features an impressive lineup of comics:

Love to laugh and can make it to the venue early. The IMPROV is a restaurant and comedy club that serves a full menu of food and beverage options. Seating is first come first serve so the earlier you arrive the greater your seating options.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR PHONE CHARGED! You will need a phone to cast your vote in the competition. If you do not have a phone or would rather not use the text voting system, we will provide voting slips as well. Run time for this event is approx 90min.
This is only your Registration. You will need to pick up your tickets from the will call window before the start of the show.
