Free Comedy Showcase & Dance Party | Berkeley
Comedian Johan Miranda presents a Saturday Night Comedy Showcase, every Saturday night at Pappy’s Bar in Berkeley.
This free stand-up comedy showcase features comedians from all around the Bay Area at 8:30 pm followed by a DJ dance party.

Imran G hits the stage with intensity and clever quips that keep his audience enthralled and roaring with laughter. The Seattle native has performed from coast to coast and honed an act to entertain audiences of all sizes, shapes, and tastes. Imran is now based in the Bay Area and has performed around the country at Comedy clubs, Theaters and Festivals as well as the NBC Standup for Diversity Showcase. he is a finalist in the Rooster T Feathers Comepttion and Winner of the 2011 Walk the Plank Comedy Competition. Imran has worked with acts like Sean Patton, Kyle Kinane, Fortune Feimster, Sugar Sammy, Joe DeRosa, and Robin Williams. When not doing comedy he enjoys doing cartwheels and acting like he knows how to breakdance.
Kelly Anneken is what happens when Kim Kardashian looks like Bette Midler and tweets like Roseanne. This Oakland-based funny person and all-around swell gal performs standup comedy at clubs and dive bars, including the SF Punchline, Cobb’s, Crackers, and Go Bananas. Kelly has appeared at Iowa’s Green Gravel Comedy Festival and Boston’s Women in Comedy Festival. She has shared a stage with Jim Gaffigan and Anthony Jeselnik at Austin’s Moontower Comedy Festival and interviewed Tig Notaro and Amy Schumer on behalf of SF Sketchfest. Kelly is well-known as the co-host of the internationally popular Downton Abbey podcast “Up Yours, Downstairs” and official third chair of Game of Thrones recap “Boars, Gore & Swords.” She is also artistic director for feminist sketch troupe Femikaze.
