Free Concert & Festival: 10th Anniversary of Splash Pad Park | Oakland

Celebrate 10 years of Oakland’s Splash Pad Park in front of the Grand Lake Theatre with a full lineup of local musicians, a kids’ zone, flamenco lessons and more from 11 am to 6 pm on October 20, 2013.

The main stage will showcase five Oakland-based bands providing seven hours of non-stop music. Take in the flamenco dance lessons provided by a master of the art – La Tania Baile Flamenco beginning at 11:30 am.

A 30-foot diameter yurt, stocked with books, Legos, and other toys, will be the centerpiece of the kid’s zone in the northwest corner of the plaza.

• The Jim Grantham Jazz Quartet
• The T-Sisters
• American Nomad
• Chelle and Friends.
• David Sturdevant’s Medicine Ball Band with Lady Bianca and Terrie Odabie plus guest artists, percussionist John Santos and Pee Wee Ellis on saxophone
