Free Concert: Grass Widow | Oakland

First Friday heats up at The Uptown with an early and free concert by Grass Widow, Culture Kids, Churches (members of Rogue Wave and Grand Lake), and Wave Array.

Grass Widow mesmerizes with its bewitching tales and eerie, obsessive melodies. But at the core of its captivation are the vocal harmonies. At the center of its songs are the troika harmonies of Lillian Maring (drums), Hannah Lew (bass) and Raven Mahon (guitar), who contribute vocals equally, echoing the band’s process.

Doors at 6pm. Show at 9pm.
