Free Concerts at Optical Underground | SF
A free show in a glasses shop? It’s true. Optical Underground is an eyewear store with a double personality — it morphs into a downstairs venue with great acoustics featuring local bands.
Their monthly after hours underground sessions offer free shows with free drinks and snacks. These SF natives use every opportunity to jam in their underground space.
Often they will have a donation jar for a local non-profit, so bring some cash to chip in.
Il Gato is an SF based indie folk band with baroque influence and high reviews from SF Chronicle, SF Weekly, Consequence of Sound, to name a few.
Make sure to check in on Facebook when you arrive as Optical Underground will donate $1 to SF Rec & Parks for each check in.
