Event Details

We’ll be pausing the silent Expressionist horror film, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, to draw striking frames.

Basic materials (pencils, paper, erasers) will be provided. You may bring your own materials, but please no fume-creating paint or paint pens. Watercolor, ink and gouache are fine.

This is a self-led event; there will be no instruction or feedback. However, there will be an opportunity at the end of the session to look at others’ drawings and show your own.

NR, 77 mins., 1920. Subtitles in English. (This is a silent film, so there are no Closed Captions.) Due to pauses for drawing, the full film will not be shown.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
