Forget prequels, forget ‘Episode IV: A New Hope’ titles. This was STAR WARS as it was in 1977 – A stand-alone phenomenon of galactic proportions, the original game-changing Space Epic that had people lining up for blocks all across America in an era without internet or video at home.

Yes, that funky 70’s summer the world met Luke, Han, Leia, Chewie and Darth for the very first time. Nobody was related, princesses were snarky and roguish heroes shot first.

There’s lots of space for chairs and blankets in front, but make sure to arrive early (and drive slowly) if you plan to park and watch from your car.

There will be a 20 minute intermission, where movie-goers can donate for snacks like popcorn, hot dogs and themed cupcakes, as well as a raffle, which includes a movie-themed prize pack.
