Make it out to Berkeley for an impromptu lunchtime show by San Francisco indie band Girls at Lower Sproul Plaza on Friday, August 26.

Just announced via their Twitter feed, Girls’ retro sound and simple, sad songs have made them Pitchfork favorites, so come out to Cal tomorrow and hear this buzz band perform songs from their soon-to-be-released album for free.
