Take free classes for both hip-hop and karate chops at Chinese dance company Philein/ZiRu Productions’s “The Art of Culture” afternoon filled with live music, dancing, arts & crafts and more.

In addition to free hip-hop, tai-chi, martial arts and drumming lessons for all ages, there will also be Chinese fan and notebook decoration, a raffle to win gift certificates and 10-minute excerpts from Philein/ZiRu’s upcoming show “Zero Hour.”

So explore Chinese-American culture through dance, art and defensive stances, and learn how to both pin and pop at this afternoon workshop in Mountain View.
