Free Historic Mountain View Cemetery Walk (Oakland)

Meet early California pioneers of food and literature (or those who inspired them!) on a historic walking tour of a Frederick Law Olmsted-designed cemetery.  We start at the final resting place of Victor “Trader Vic” Bergeron and end at the grave of James Folger, with tastes and readings along the way. Other notables on the tour include Frank Norris, Ina Coolbrith and Domingo Ghiradelli. as well as inventors, cookbook and detective writers. Meet in front of cemetery office.
