Ike’s Love & Sandwiches, the deliciously addicting sandwich shop, will open its first Hayward location in partnership with former professional boxer Andre Ward on Wednesday, April 3, 2019. Ike’s ample menu includes vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free sandwich options.

On the Grand Opening Day, the first 50 customers will receive 1 free sandwich each (up to $13 value).

An Olympic athlete, professional World Champion and East Bay native, Ward is a proud partner in the cult favorite sandwich shop.

Both Ward and Ike’s Love & Sandwiches Founder and CEO, Ike Shehadeh, will be present at the Grand Opening from 11AM-1:30PM for media interviews, pictures and autographs with fans.

The new Hayward location is located at 28549 Hesperian Blvd, Hayward, CA 94545 and open daily from 10:30AM-7PM.

Ike’s Hayward menu introduces three new sandwiches to the wildly popular roster:

• “Haywood’s Chicken Fried Cheesesteak” made with chicken fried steak, orange wasabi sauce and swiss cheese
• A vegetarian version called “Super Hunt Bros.” made with tomatoes in place of chicken
• “Andre S.O.G. Ward,” Ward’s namesake sandwich prepared with salami, pesto, Caesar dressing and provolone.
