Active Music Series at the Uptown presents Electric Bardo, West Quartet, Rob Ewing Trio in another performance that favors Jazz and experimentalism. No cover. 

Electric Bardio: a trio of electric sarod, bass, and drums played by Ben Kunin, Jason Hoopes (The Atomic Bomb Audition/Jack O’ The Clock), and Peijman (Secret Chiefs 3/Omens of Awe), respectively. They play an improvised hybrid of North Indian Classical Music and amplified Rock.

Aram Shelton’s West Quartet. Compositions and improvisations Aram Shelton, alto saxophone; Mark Clifford, vibraphone; Doug Stuart, bass; Sam Ospovat, drums.

Rob Ewing Trio: With Ewing on trombone; Michael Coleman on keyboard; Hamir Atwal on drums.
