Stop by and give lawn bowling a try with free lawn bowling lessons from the San Francisco Lawn Bowling Club from 10 am to 4 pm on Saturday October 5, 2013.

Enjoy free lessons, but you must wear flat shoes if you would like to learn how to play.

The San Francisco Lawn Bowling Club is the oldest municipal (established 1901) lawn bowling club in the country and their clubhouse was christened back in the day by John McLaren himself.

The Lawn bowling greens are located near Sharon Meadow and the Children’s Playground.
