Join the San Francisco Model Yacht Club for free introductory sailing lessons for youth on Sunday, July 21 between 11 am to 1 pm at Spreckels Lake (36th Avenue and JFK Drive) in Golden Gate Park.
Each child will have about 20 minutes of individual sailing time and it will be a great opportunity for youth and parents to learn how to sail a boat.
SFMYC members will provide introductory sailing lessons on the Club’s radio-controlled Victoria
sailboats. Kids 9 years and older are welcome. No fees and no gear needed. Just an adult must accompany the youth (no drop offs please).
Spreckels Lake in Golden Gate Park is off Fulton St, use entrance at 36th Avenue. Ample parking.
