Motorcycle Diaries (2004, 128 minutes)

In 1952, twenty-three year old medical student Ernesto Guevara de la Serna, decides to postpone his last semester of med school to accompany his twenty-nine year old biochemist friend Alberto Granado on a four month, 8,000 km long dream motorcycle trip throughout South America. Based on his journal, this film follows Ernesto, later and better known as “Che” Guevara, beginning from his home in Buenos Aires, and all along the journey that profoundly affects the adventurous duo and eventually inspires Che to become the leader of the Cuban revolution impacting an entire continent.
