SF in SF at the Movies: Showing Megamind and Galaxy Quest. Free popcorn.

There’ll also be a cash bar for drinks and candy on sale plus a raffle for Sci-Fi literary schwag. It’s all a benefit for the Children’s Variety Room to help out kids in need.

• Megamind – (95 mins., PG) The supervillain Megamind finally conquers his nemesis, the hero Metro Man… but finds his life pointless without a hero to fight. How does he resolve this existential dilemma, while pining for the gal of his dreams?
• Galaxy Quest – (102 mins., PG) Join us for our biennial showing of the classic flick, that reminds us all again just what we love about science fiction films. It’s got Sigourney Weaver (making fun of her own Sci-Fi characters), the always awesome Alan Rickman and plenty of good Tim Allen

Films start at 7:00PM – there will be a short intermission between films
