On Mumia Abu-Jamal’s 67th birthday, we will gather at 12 noon at Oscar Grant Plaza, 14th and Broadway to march to the offices of District Attorney Nancy O’Malley, Alameda County Courthouse 1225 Fallon Street, Oakland.

There we will hear a taped message from Mumia. one of the longest held US political prisoners, a Black journalist and author. Mumia’s health has severely deteriorated after COVID and a diagnosis of Congestive Heart Failure. We are joining many actions across the US on this day to demand the immediate release of Mumia Abu-Jamal.

Saturday, April 24, 12 Noon, Gather at Oscar Grant Plaza, 14th and Broadway, Oakland
March to DA Nancy O’Malley’s Office, 1225 Fallon Street, for a rally for Mumia’s freedom and against police terror.
Saturday, April 24, 3 p.m., Holy Ground Ceremony for Mumia.
Gather at Center and Huey Newton Street. Procession to Mandela Parkway, Oakland.
