Celebrate Black History Month (and a little bit more) with live stand-up in Uptown Oakland, featuring rotating lineups of rising Black comedians alongside standout Bay Area pros and special guests.
Each show features 4 to 5 comedians delivering a 70+ minute comedy show with credits including Cobb’s Comedy Club, Punch Line SF, SF Sketchfest, Don’t Tell Comedy, The Improv, San Francisco Comedy Competition, and more.

Bryant Hicks is a regular with Don’t Tell Comedy, and his impressive resume includes performing with Jerrod Carmichael, Ali Wong, and Dave Chappelle. He has also been featured in the San Francisco Comedy Competition and performs regularly at top comedy clubs including Cobb’s and The Improv.

The Venue – Fluid510
Fluid510 is a nearly 5,000 square foot performance venue in Uptown Oakland, created by Oakland community leaders Richard Fuentes and Sean Sullivan, best known for transforming The Port Bar into a destination for the LGBTQIA+ community and queer people of color across the Bay Area.
The venue features a state of the art sound and lighting system including QSC Pro Audio speakers, dual projectors, and immersive lighting. The space also features a rotating art collection focused on local artists of color, including works from Oakland artist Derrick Bell.
Full Bar, Cocktails, and Food
The drinks menu features expertly crafted cocktails from General Manager Yao Liow, formerly of Kincaid’s and Palomino, along with beer, wine, and mocktails.
Guests can also enjoy an elevated bar food menu from Chef Alessandro Campitelli, formerly of Contrasto.
