Free Oakland Shoreline Cleanup Party + Free Bagels (MLK Shoreline)

Oceanic Global and Save the Bay invite volunteers to a shoreline cleanup at MLK Regional Shoreline. The event includes opening remarks, a coastal cleanup to reduce marine plastic, and a closing raffle. Gloves and supplies are provided, and Boichik Bagels will offer complimentary snacks. Space is limited and RSVP is required.

Original Event Description:
Join us for a community cleanup in Oakland on Saturday, July 19th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Martin Luther King Jr. Regional Shoreline!
Help us protect our coastal habitats and connect with our partners Save The Bay, Oakland Roots, and SF Bay Ferry. Volunteers are invited to join Oceanic Global and Corona USA for a litter cleanup of the area, preventing marine debris and microplastics from entering waterways.
Complimentary bagels provided by Boichik Bagels!

9:00 AM Volunteer sign-in + remarks
9:30 AM Cleanup
11:30 AM Impact sorting + raffle

Accessibility: Mostly ADA accessible, but shoreline portions may not be. Supplies provided. Bring closed-toe shoes and a reusable water bottle.
