The San Francisco Arts Commission Galleries and the San Francisco Chronicle present an evening of lively discussion with experienced and diverse photojournalists with works in the exhibition, The Valley/El Valle: Photo-essays from California’s Heartland, currently on view at SF City Hall, Monday – Friday through September 19, 2014.

Panel participants include artists Sam Comen (Los Angeles), Lou Dematteis (San Francisco), Kathya Landeros (Sacramento), Ken & Melanie Light (Orinda) and Antonio Zazueta Olmos (London) with San Francisco Chronicle’s Director of Photography Judy Walgren as moderator.
The exhibition offers a diverse look at the Central Valley through nine photo-essays, including historical images from the 1970s during the height of California’s farm labor movement.
