Now that everyone is settled in to the new school year and getting ready for Halloween, your neighborhood sourdough bakers and pizza people, Nick and Aron’s at 4316 Telegraph in Oakland will be hosting one of their famous Community Meals, opening up their doors for two hours to serve free pizza, salads and homemade beverages from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, October 20, 2015.

Enjoy Happy Hour prices on beer and wine, good community vibes, and maybe even a DJ. Bring a plate and a fork to help them reduce waste. 

Chef Yapor-Cox conceived of his regular community meals as a way of thanking his customers, and making his pizza available to all. Strongly based in a desire to cook and serve for joy of hospitality instead of profit, these Community Meals help them create and connect with their community through a simple fresh meal together. 

While Oakland is going through a whiplash of changes, they want to take an opportunity to renew their commitment to ALL the members of the community.
